Hot Off the Needles: My Latest Work

With the depths of winter upon us here in New Hampshire, I’ve kept myself busy (playing hockey and) stitching up a storm:

Snowflake, flower or mandala, each design is worked one freehand stitch at a time…

With no two designs ever coming out exactly the same way twice, each of my heirloom handknit hats is guaranteed to be as unique as you. And no hat will keep you as warm in the sleet and snow, I promise!

Come and check them out for yourself from 9am – 2pm this Saturday at the Wentworth Greenhouses in Rollinsford, New Hampshire.

Hope to see you there!

NEW for the League of NH Craftsmen’s Sunapee Fair: Embroidered Felt Hat with Antler Buttons

With just 5 days until the start of the 76th Annual League of New Hampshire Craftsmen’s Fair at Mt. Sunapee, I’ve been embroidering felt hats as fast as I can.

Hand-cut caribou antler button, seed beads and ribbon embroidery on felt.

I love the over-sized caribou antler buttons on this hat (2008 #124)…

I’ll be in Tent 7, Booth 713 for all nine days of the Fair, with as much new work as I can muster!
